But things are going to get where they need to be and this is a process now that's playing out over TV. And that's something the die hard fans are frustrated with. There's such a huge percentage of the WWE Universe and the WWE fanbase who aren't familiar with the story of the Woken-slash-Broken character so we have to educate them and get them up to speed and help them understand what's going on.

I think the hardcore fans have to remember that patience is paramount. And I'm very excited for this undertaking. IGN: Speaking of evolving as a solo performer, what's it like to now be "Woken" on the main WWE roster? Hardy: It's been great. I just understand that life is a constant change and a constant evolution. So yeah, I take a lot of pleasure in both. And then when I work on my own I find that a challenge and it's something that really drives me to work harder, when I'm on my own. So we appreciate that we're still living our dream that we've been doing for 25 years together. When I wrestle as a tag team with my brother it's always great because we realize as our bodies, our vessels, age we know we can't do this forever.

Is there one you prefer to do more? Hardy: I like both equally and as I got older I think I learned to appreciate things equally as well. But you've done both throughout your career - the tag team work and the singles competition. IGN: Your brother Jeff's unfortunately injured right now and you're flying solo. They're a great team to have if you want to energize the tag team scene in WWE. And another team we didn't get a chance to work with a lot, because they got hurt and then my brother got hurt, is The Revival. Another tag team out there who I think are just right now getting a good shot is The Club - Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. We always had great matches with them during that whole story. We had the most matches with Sheamus and Cesaro and they're so good.

It always helps to have someone fresh to face. IGN: How did you find the landscape of the WWE tag team scene when you returned? Hardy: For us it was nice because there was a totally new crop of talent to work with. The raw emotion that came from the crowd made it so it was actually intoxicating getting to the ring. When I walked down that ramp I could physically feel the emotion and excitement coming from that crowd. And the reaction just wound up being superb. There were a lot of expectations for our return but nobody really knew for sure and there was no 100% guarantee that we'd be coming back, so it was a legitimate surprise. We were in a very fortunate position though because we'd gotten ourselves very very hot outside the plain known as WWE. IGN: Were you nervous at all about how you'd be received? Hardy: Certainly it was an unknown. The fact that it was a Ladder Match and that we faced some great teams and won the RAW tag team titles, it's something I'll carry with me forever and hold near and dear to my heart. Coming out to a crowd that size, especially in the age of technology where everyone knows everything ahead of time - it's certainly going to go down as one of the biggest moments in my career. YES NO IGN: When you and Jeff returned last WrestleMania, how did you feel about your comeback happening in front of a crowd that large and also in a Ladder Match? Hardy: It couldn't have been a more perfect fit.
